Privacy policy
This page explains what information Admista collects through this website, what we do with it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll explain.
Who we are
Admista is a marketing and AI automation business in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Connor, our founder, is responsible for how we handle personal information. For any privacy question or request, email connor.a@admista.com.
What we collect
When you book a strategy call
Our booking calendar is run by Calendly. When you book, it collects your name, your email address, the time you pick and your time zone. There's also an optional box where you can tell us anything that will help us prepare. The call itself takes place on Google Meet.
When you email us
We receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.
When you visit the site
Like every website, ours receives some technical information from your browser so it can load the pages: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our hosting provider uses this to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to this site: which pages are viewed, the type of browser and device, and the website or country a visit came from. It doesn't use cookies, and it doesn't follow you to other websites or build a profile of you. We don't use advertising tracking.
How we use it
- To book, confirm and hold your strategy call, including the confirmation and reminder emails Calendly sends.
- To prepare for the call and follow up on what we discussed.
- To reply when you contact us.
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to marketing emails because you booked a call or wrote to us. If we ever start a newsletter, we'll only send it to people who sign up for it separately, and every email will have an unsubscribe link.
Who helps us handle it
We use a few service providers, and each only gets the information it needs to do its job:
- Calendly: runs the booking calendar and sends booking emails.
- Stripe: Calendly's calendar loads Stripe's payment code, which Calendly uses for paid bookings. Our calls are free and we never ask for payment details, but when the code loads, Stripe may collect basic device information to prevent fraud.
- Google: our calendar, email and Google Meet video calls, plus the fonts this site uses (loading them sends your IP address to Google; Google says it sets no cookies for this).
- Cloudflare: hosts this website, protects it from attacks and counts visits (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- Anthropic: makes Claude, the AI assistant we use to help run the business. When we use it for tasks like sorting email, scheduling or preparing for a call, it can read the email, calendar and booking details involved.
These providers store information on servers outside Canada, mainly in the United States, so it may be subject to the laws of those countries. Apart from them, we only share personal information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This website doesn't set any cookies of its own. Our visit counts come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies, and we don't run advertising tracking.
The booking calendar is Calendly's own page, shown inside ours. Calendly sets a few cookies so the calendar works and stays secure, including bot protection, fraud checks and a record of your cookie choice. Calendly also uses optional tools of its own for analytics (including how visitors click and move around its calendar) and for its marketing. That information goes to Calendly, not to us.
When the calendar loads, Calendly shows a cookie notice. Choose Decline to turn off its optional cookies, or Cookie settings to pick which ones to allow. You can still book either way. Calendly's privacy notice explains its cookies in full. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If that stops the calendar from working, email us and we'll book your call by hand.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details and our notes from your call for up to two years after we last spoke, then delete them from our records and from Calendly. If you become a client, our agreement with you sets out how we handle your information from then on. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
How we protect it
Connor is the only person who works with the information you give us. We keep it inside the accounts listed above, which have their own security safeguards, and our AI assistant only sees it when Connor uses it for a task.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you,
- correct anything that's wrong,
- delete it, or
- stop using it (if you withdraw your consent before a call, we'll cancel the booking).
Email connor.a@admista.com and we'll answer within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, for example by adding advertising tracking or a chat assistant to this site, we'll update this page first and change the date at the top.
